Yichun Liu

The Taiwanese dancer Yichun Liu graduated in 2007 from the Taipei National University of the Arts. She was immediately employed by Cloud Gate Dance Theatre and in 2009 switched to Balletto Teatro di Torino in Italy. She first came into contact with Anouk van Dijk when she featured in the choreography Derivatives, that Anouk van Dijk was commissioned to make in 2005 at the American Dance Festival. She had a striking and mysterious appearance on stage, and was able to transform instantly from an angelic to a devilish character. When looking for a dancer for Wowwowowwonders in me with exactly this capacity, we did not have to think long! After that Yichun performed in Deseo and Mensch.
