eilit marom

Eilit Marom, born in Haifa (Israel) started her classical and modern education at Reut and Wizo art school in Haifa. After Graduating she decided to move to a small kibbutz in the north of Israel to attend the two year course of Kibbutz Gaton Professional workshop.

Eilit had the privilege to perform work of choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Rami Bee'r, Susanne Linke and Jiri Kylian. After that, she started working with choreographer Dana Rutenberg, performing in Night Swim (2005). Following her wish to explore and expand she changed her location and moved to Holland to study at ArtEZ dance academy, in Arnhem. There, she started to develop her own choreographic work as a choreographer, making pieces which performed in Korzo (the Hague), Muziekgebouw (Amsterdam), Suzan Dalal (Tel-aviv) and Stukafest (Groningen). Soon to be graduated, Eilit has already worked as a professional dancer and as a stagiaire with the choreographers Reut Shemesh (kokiyaje,No Ballet Festival), Piet Rogie (m/eat me, Dansateliers), Erik Kaiel ( Rain and the Rhinoceros, Korzo) and at the moment as an assistant choreographer with Anouk van Dijk for the production Wowwowonders in me.
