Professional dancers and advanced students from official dance training programs are welcome to join our company classes as a guest. The Countertechnique classes are taught either by Anouk van Dijk or by one of her dancers who are all trained Countertechnique teachers. The exercises will not be explained every class, but since they are repeated often they are easy to follow.

Practical information:
We usually organize three classes a week, but the schedule is mostly announced only a few days in advance. On our schedule page you'll find the latest updates. You don't have to sign up for the company classes. The schedule can be changed last minute however, so please always check the schedule online before you leave for class.

The classes take place at the Toyoko Studios in the Kauwgomballenfabriek, 
Daniël Goedkoopstraat 22. The studio is located 15 min by bike from the centre and can also be easily reached by public transport (metro Spaklerweg or Overamstel). For a precise route description please mail Nina Wollny, nina@anoukvandijk.nl.

The classes usually start at 10am. There is someone to open the door ten minutes prior to the start of the class. If no one 
answers, please try our office at number 26. We ask a 5 euro contribution for each class to be paid after the class.

Open classes in Countertechnique are also being taught regularly at the Henny Jurriëns Foundation (HJS), Amsterdam's open studio providing a schedule of ballet and modern dance classes for freelance professionals.
