countertechnique teachers training

At this moment, Anouk van Dijk’s Countertechnique is being taught mainly by dancers from our company. In June 2012 the Countertechnique Teachers Training (CTTT) starts. In this program dancers from outside our company are being trained to teach Countertechnique independently.

The CTTT program consists of several elements, the most important one being the two-yearly, 10 day intensive. For every edition of this program a maximum of 5 new participants are allowed. There is a strict selection procedure for these 5 places, in which only those participants are taken into consideration that have attended a substantial number of Countertechnique classes by certified teachers and who have displayed in these classes a thorough physical and analytical understanding of the principles of the Countertechnique and the skills to convincingly apply these principles in movement. In the documents below you will find all information, both in regard to the content of the program as to the admission procedure and costs. The CTTT intensive takes place in 2012 from June 11 to 22.
