Since a few years the Countertechnique is also being taught at Dutch and international dance academies. Dance students are put in touch with Anouk van Dijk’s movement system intensively.
At Codarts / Rotterdam Dance Academy the Countertechnique has even become a regular part of the four-year curriculum. Since 2008 all Codarts dance students are offered classes in Countertechnique. This way they get an introduction into the technique, both physically and mentally. They also learn how to apply the basic principles of the Countertechnique in other technique classes.
